Tennessee's search to exchange Cuonzo Martin as its men's basketball coach is now focused on Louisiana Tech's Michael White, multiple sources informed CBSSports.com on Saturday.

Martin left UT last week to coach at California.

A source instructed CBSSports.com that UT has informally contacted some "A-list" candidates however that the curiosity hasn't been mutual. Another supply informed CBSSports.com that no less than one potential candidate expressed no interest largely because Tennessee's roster is in bad shape provided that the Vols are dropping four of their prime five gamers from a Candy 16 team.

White just completed his third season at Louisiana Tech, where he averaged 28 wins over the past two seasons and completed tied for first both years. The 37-year-old played four seasons at Ole Miss and spent seven seasons as an assistant at his alma mater before accepting the Louisiana Tech job in March 2011. He is the son of Duke athletic director Kevin White.
