Strasburg avoids arbitration, gets nearly $4M

Strasburg, 25, is coming off a 2013 season in which he logged an ERA of 3. 00 (126 ERA+) and K/BB ratio of 3. 41 in 183 innings of work. For his career, he owns a 132 ERA+ across parts of four major-league seasons.

 

Last year, Strasburg, a Scott Boras client, made $3. 9 million, so this constitutes a very modest raise. He's eligible for free agency following the 2016 season. Read The Original Article
